Meet Leslie: Owner and Stylist
I don’t remember when I became interested in bridal, or when my dreams first began about owning my own bridal store. You know those piles of magazines you kept from years ago that are found when you’re cleaning out long forgotten boxes? I found those recently, and every single one of them were bridal magazines. While in college at MTSU, I interned at a small bridal boutique in Nashville. I immediately felt at home among the silks and laces, the big ballgowns and dainty mermaids. I remember asking someone, “why would I want to work with every day clothing when I can work with the most important piece of clothing a girl will ever wear?”. That must be when the dream started! Eleven years in bridal later, my husband and I moved back to Knoxville to begin transforming Wedding Wonderland into Lillian Ruth Bride. Named after both of my grandmothers (Lillian and Ruth Alice), this bridal boutique is a true labor of love that is now a haven for brides to feel beautiful, cared for, and celebrated. My deepest dream is now a reality, and I feel so grateful to give brides the experience they deserve in this sweet boutique.
Meet Liz: Boutique Manager and Stylist
If LRB is a hidden treasure in Knoxville, Liz is the extra diamond that is found in the treasure box. For almost 6 years, Liz has been the face that so many brides have gotten to see when shopping at Wedding Wonderland, and now Lillian Ruth Bride. She is truly passionate about serving brides, and to top it off is so knowledgeable about every dress in the store, inside and out. She will take your vision and gift it back to you with an extra ribbon on top, making it better than you could have dreamed.
A Knoxville native, Liz married her husband in 2012 and they are so excited to welcome their baby girl into the world in September.
